Rob Condon Managing Member
Rob Condon is Managing Member of Allied Fund Services and has over 30 years of public accounting experience. Rob assists a diverse group of individuals along with public and private companies, providing comprehensive planning and transactional analysis of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for many Private Equity funds and their portfolio companies. He supports clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, biotechnology, dealerships, distribution, energy, franchising, manufacturing, milling, restaurants, hospitality, services and technology. Previously, he served as Managing Shareholder of Condon & Company, P.C., a Houston-based accounting firm, which he founded in 2004.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from University of Houston in 1983 and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. Rob is an active alumni member with the University of Houston and supports several Houston-based civic organizations by serving as an officer on various nonprofit boards.
Joan Asher President & Managing Director
Joan Asher is President & Managing Partner of Allied Fund Services. She has a 25-year career in financial services and investment management and has worked for several top-tier firms in roles that have included COO, CFO and CCO. She has transacted with numerous financial institutions, administrators and clients in the U.S. and abroad in a wide-variety of investment related activity.
Ms. Asher graduated from Fairfield University with a B.S. in Finance. She holds NRS’s Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) designation and has completed the Certified Independent Fund Director Programme. She also is an active volunteer in her local community serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Stamford Dollars for Scholars and on the Advisory Board of Harness All Possibilities (HAP).
Kim Baker Managing Director
Kim Baker serves as Managing Director, having over 30 years of financial and managerial accounting experience, including her 6 years of audit and consulting in public accounting. An experienced veteran of large, high-growth private companies, she has served in both Controller and CFO leadership positions.
Kim assists clients in reorganizing, streamlining and strengthening financial reporting operations to maximize performance and satisfy critical delivery goals. She has been successful in several ERP system implementations, managing all phases of the process. Kim’s strong communication skills allow her to work effectively with personnel at all levels and across multiple functional areas within an organization. She efficiently develops solutions and defines clear project steps for dysfunctional and disparate accounting units within an organization. She has worked extensively in the real estate and construction, business and financial services, technology, energy and private equity industries.
A native of Houston, Kim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University. She is also a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
Laura Stamey Senior Manager
Laura Stamey serves as Senior Manager, having over 10 years of fund administration, accounting, tax and financial leadership experience. Laura’s career path has included both public accounting and oil and gas industry accounting. Her experience is primarily focused in financial and operational reporting, audit, fund services and monthly close processes. Laura is also skilled in system design and implementation, transaction support, audit preparation, and analytical tool development.
Laura supports clients in a variety of industry sectors, including energy, private equity, real estate and construction, manufacturing, and business and financial services.
A native Houstonian, Laura earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting at Trinity University. She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Junior League of Houston.
